In this release we’re moving Loans out of Beta and into production for Admins / SIM Team. This is a major upgrade based on testing and feedback during the limited Beta release.

Member release of Loans will be coming shortly as a follow up to this Admin / SIM Team release, in addition to further enhancements like the ability to Share a loan.

Major updates to Loans in this release include:

1. Ability to return loan early

2. Mark as missing and track issues related to loan returns

This introduces the start of a new major feature "operational issues”, which will be used to deal with operational issues across the system.

Issues will be accessible in the revised dashboard, in this immediate iteration the issue access is found on the loan.

3. Ability to add additional equipment to the loan prior to pick-up

4. Ability to adjust the pick-up / drop-off time of loan

Adjustment of date is still in progress and will be released shortly.

5. Ability to adjust prep time for each loan

6. Ability to cancel a loan

7. Ability to book on behalf of the borrower

8. Ability to swap equipment and adjust quantity

[]

9. Loan settings

Ability to set settings related to loans, including hand off methods, prep hold time for admin vs. members, and to set a unique loan policy document.
